WHAT IS THE BUSWAY?

Busway built at a minimum cost of £90m between Luton Airport and Houghton Regis. A frequent, dependable high-quality service linking Houghton Regis, Dunstable and Luton. Specially adapted buses are capable of running both on their own track and on the public roads. The busway scheme runs mostly along the line of the disused railway parallel to the A505 (Dunstable Road) and A5065 (Hatters Way). Please Note: This is NOT an official Busway communication. It does not purport to be an organ for any public authority.
