This was the queue for the bus way for buses towards Dunstable/Houghton Regis five or so minutes after the full time whistle. Michael Pala, "I boarded the CentreBus E that came along first. When I got off at Dunstable, I saw an Arriva A bus behind it. Anyone who was waiting here towards the back, did any extra buses turn up?"

Bus users are warned that Queensway will be closed and will affect services from the 11th January to the 30th March, This closure will leave both The Quadrant and The Winston Churchill stops out of use for some routes due to diversions. 

This will affect the following services A, B, E, Z, 31,(was x31) 37, 61 and all other services that serve asda. This may aslo cause service delays as it'll affect normal traffic flow. Arriva's information Services 31, A and Z will be affected. After serving the Asda stops, these services will make a U-Turn at the Queensway and proceed along Kingsway before returning to the normal route from Church Street. These services will be unable to serve the Quadrant stop on the High Street North and Winston Churchill stop on Church Street. 

Please use Asda stops for these services. F70 and F77 are unaffected by this Grant Palmer's Information Buses to Weatherby; Buses between Luton Interchange, the busway and ASDA will run as normal before turning at Vernon’s Place. Buses will then operate via Court Drive to Kingsway and turn right on to Church Street, where they will proceed to West Street and rejoin normal line of route These services will be unable to serve the Quadrant stop on the High Street North. Please use Asda or British Heart Foundation/West street Stops. 

Luton services are unaffected but there could be service delays as a result. Additionally this does not affect the early morning and evening 42 service. Centrebus, Red eagle and CBC Dial a ride/mini bus services have not released service updates on this as of yet but we assume they will be running a similar route on all services. Updates will come as soon as we know more

While this isn't busway related I'd rather warn than not. Travelling to Bedford via Grant Palmer 42 or Stagecoach East's 81 from Luton? You may encounter delays or diversions due to ground flooding in Bedford. Both routes pass Yellow and Red flood warning zones so please take care when travelling tomorrow Paul

CAUGHT OUT ON THE BUSWAY A post of this van appeared on social media on 11 March. A spokesperson for Waitrose told us today, “We're really sorry for this - unfortunately our driver inadvertently took a wrong turn but as soon as they realised they came off as quickly and as safely as possible.”

Centrebus has withdrawn part of their B Service in Dunstable. The company say that, “Following criminal damage to our vehicles in Downside, the B will only operate via Mayfield Avenue and Oakwood Avenue, cutting out the rest of Downside. Buses will stop at Mayfield Stores bus stop, Mayfield Road stop and then again opposite the Mayfield Stores where they will wait time.” This change will be in place all day Monday to Sunday. The rest of the route is unaffected. The change took place from 5th November.
